Arthur Hathaway Obituary
Arthur Eugene Hathaway, age 79, of Edgewater, died, Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Advent Health, New Smyrna Beach. Born in New Smyrna Beach to Clarence and Ruby Hunter Hathaway, Mr. Hathaway was a lifetime resident.
A retired New Smyrna Beach firefighter, Mr. Hathaway was a member of Glencoe Baptist Church, enjoyed golfing, hunting, football and was a Gator fan.
Survivors include his wife, Karen; 2 sons, James (Stacy) of Jacksonville and Glynn (Melinda) of Orlando; grandchildren, Sarah Hathaway of Tampa; Samuel Hathaway of Orlando, Rachel Hathaway of New Smyrna Beach and Tyler Wilging-Hathaway of Cocoa; and great granddaughter, Charlotte.
Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Glencoe Baptist Church, with Pastor Danny Carter, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society SE Florida, 1737 N. Clyde Morris Blvd., Suite 140, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
