Barbara "Bobbi" R. Hoehl

Barbara “Bobbi” Hoehl, age 84, of Edgewater, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Halifax Health Hospice Edgewater. Born in Charleston, West Virginia to Carl Milton and Crystal Hensley Fisher, Bobbi came to the area in 1976 from Fairmont, West Virginia.

 

A hairdresser, she was a member of Edgewater Union Church and volunteered at Bert Fish Hospital as a pink lady and at Advent Health oncology. Bobbi enjoyed bingo and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Granger, of Edgewater and Cindy (Randy) Harris, of Oak Hill; son, Rick (Carol) Sanson, of Wendell, North Carolina; granddaughters, Tonya, Mandi, Amber, Heather, Randi and Sandra; grandsons, Brandon, John “JD” and Kyle; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Judy Stalnaker and brothers, Carl “Duke” Fisher and Randall (Donna) Fisher. Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elwood Butch and sisters, Jean, Bonnie and Dottie.

 

Celebration of Life will be 4:00 p.m. at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with the Reverend Ned Michael, Edgewater Union Church, officiating.
