Barry W. Reams

Barry W. Reams, age 73, of Edgewater, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at his residence. Born in Redhouse, Kentucky to Walter Y. Reams, Sr. and Elva Sally Reams, Barry came to the area from Nicholasville, Kentucky.

 

A former owner/operator of Pat & Barry’s Karaoke, Barry worked for Dixie Cup in Kentucky for over 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #285, Am Vets #2, the Dolphin Athletic Club and AA. Barry was a great handyman, a “jack of all trades”.

 

Survivors include his fiancé, Pat Levandowski of Edgewater; son, Wayn (Julie) Reams of Versailles, Kentucky; 2 daughters, Cheryl (Lee) Heathman of Diamond Head, Mississippi and Trisha (Tommy) Wilson of Nicholasville, Kentucky; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Jake Reams, James Reams and Joe Reams; 3 sisters, Jean Rawling, Barbara Hooper and Patricia Blair.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Barry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charlie and Walter, Jr.

 

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Friday, April 6th at Settle-Wilder New Smyrna Chapel, with Chaplain Raphael Camilo, officiating. Burial will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater.  Friends will be received on Friday, April 6th  from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Settle-Wilder Chapel.
