Benjamin Rosier Ridgdill, Jr., age 73, of Edgewater, died Monday, June 8, 2020 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater. Born in New Smyrna Beach to Bertha Mae Goodrich and Benjamin Rosier Ridgdill, Sr., Benjamin, Jr. was a lifelong resident.
He was a member of Indian River Baptist Church, a member of Acton and worked for ARC for at least 30 years. Benjamin enjoyed fishing, going to the movies, listening to music and watching westerns. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his sister, Rosemary (Anthony) Pavese, of Edgewater; aunt Marie Goodrich, of Edgewater; and sister-in-law, Lois Ann Ridgdill, of New Smyrna Beach. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Indian River Baptist Church, with Dr. Keith Taylor, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Benjamin’s memory to ARC of Daytona Beach, 100 Huger Circle, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.
