Beverly LaFlamme Obituary

Beverly J. LaFlamme, age 86, of New Smyrna Beach, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Fairgreen Assisted Living Facility, New Smyrna Beach.

Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Charles and Catherine Smith Maurer, Beverly came to the area in 1995 from her birthplace.

A retired banker from Peoples Bank, she was a member of Edgewater Union Church, Eastern Star and the Silver Sands Civic Association. Beverly enjoyed knitting, reading, working outdoors, mowing and weeding. She was a Cub Scout den mother and Brownie leader. Beverly loved to cook and spending time with the family, especially during the holidays.

The family wishes to gratefully acknowledge the special care provided by Fairgreen Assisted Living and Advent Health Hospice.

Survivors include her sons, Earl A. LaFlamme, III (Claudia), of Edgewater, Florida; Brian D. (Diane), of Golden, Colorado; Keith A. (Maureen), of Belchertown, Massachusetts; and Lance E., of Bryson City, North Carolina; daughter, Ronna Wuttke, of Bryson City, North Carolina; sister, Daryl Boisvere, of Chicopee, Massachusetts; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 2019; brothers, Clif Maurer and Wayne Maurer and her parents.

In accordance with Mrs. LaFlamme’s wishes, services will be private.
