Billie Jean Hohenstein, 85, of Oak Hill, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 19th, 2026. She was born on October 19th, 1940 in Lexington, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Flossie (Taulbee) Noe, husband, Tony Hohenstein, one sister, Faye Chivers, half-brother, Harold Noe, and one half-sister, Marie Noe.
Billie is survived by son, Scott Hohenstein of Oak Hill, Florida, two granddaughters, Molly and Gracie of Port Orange, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
Billie was a member of the Edgewater Baptist Church, Oak Hill Baptist Church and later New Smyrna Beach Calvary Church. She had worked for Coronado Paint for 25 years. In her free-time she enjoyed volunteering at school and church, feeding the homeless in the Halifax area, playing the piano, reading and gardening.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 at Settle Wilder Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
