Brooke Noel Williams

Brooke Noel Williams, age 28, died Monday, September 4, 2023 at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. Born in Orlando, to Pamela Jane Williams, Brooke came to the area in 1995 and was a lifelong Florida resident.

A 2013 graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School, she participated at Arc and Easter Seals. She loved music, dancing, coloring books, and bowling. Brooke was a computer wiz and would always make people smile, she truly loved people. Brooke will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her mother, Pamela; grandfather, Robert Williams; 2 aunts, Nancy (Donnie) Babham, and Deborah Carey (Tom Ingle); all of New Smyrna Beach; cousins, Raleigh, Ryan, Sam, Scott, Shelly, Andrew, Bailey, Lana, and Bobby; special family member, Cathy Holms and her special family from Developing Future Cares Group Home; and many other friends she met throughout her life. Brooke was preceded in death by her step-dad, Leo Durchame (deceased in June) and he was a part of her life.

Funeral service will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Settle-Wilder Funeral, officiating by her friends and family. Burial will be immediately followed at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 19,  2023 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Arc of Volusia Inc., 100 Jimmy Huger Circle, Daytona Beach, FL 32117.

Brooke’s mother would like to send a special thank you to all the doctors, special nurses who took care of her daughter at AdventHealth Daytona; and all who came to love her while she was there. They worked above and beyond to provide the best care for her.
