Bruce Johnson Obituary

Bruce Johnson, age 62, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his residence. Born in Paducah, Kentucy to Walter K. And Wanda Joyce Casselman Johnson, Bruce came to the area in 1989 from Louisville, Kentucky.

A United States Air Force veteran, Bruce was a carpenter, loved music and working as a DJ as well as his coffee and espresso. He enjoyed motorcycles and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Debra; daughter, Angela (Jason Warner) Johnson; stepsons, Vern (Rahannon) Halstead, of Brandon, Florida and Andrew Halstead, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; stepdaughter, Kathleen Halstead, of Edgewater, Florida; 10 grandchildren, Anthony, Alexander,Alyissa, Austin Halstead and Karter Thorne, Rion Rom, Wyatt Rom, Olivia Penutto, Van Pennuto, and Harper Hall; and sister, Janice (Danny) Howard, of Benton, Kentucky. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Patricia.
