Bryon R. Dickerson, 53, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016, in Suwannee, Florida from a tragic accident. He was born at the original Bert Fish Hospital in New Smyrna Beach and graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School, and had been a lifelong resident of Florida.

Mr. Dickerson was predeceased by his parents Mr. Robert & Edna Mae Dickerson, a brother-in-law, John Barlow. He is survived by his son Bryon Cole (Danielle) Dickerson, of Jasper FL, daughter; Alyssa Marie Dickerson of New Smyrna Beach, grandson Brendan Lee Dickerson, sisters; Anna Barlow, Deidre (Wayne) Crawford, a niece, nephews and ex-wife Jennifer Willig.

Bryon loved to hunt, fish play golf and spend time with his many friends. He worked at the Volusia County School Board Maintenance as a welder/fabricator for 32 years. Bryon will be greatly missed by many.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 7, 2016 at Settle-Wilder Chapel with The Reverend Donald Shobert officiating. A memorial reception will follow at the home of Helen Dow, Colony Road, New Smyrna Beach.
