Carol Ann Hackler, age 77, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater. She was born in Palisades Park, New Jersey to Sue Audrey Brown and William Howard Conger Sr.
Carol worked in retail and was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, playing games online, traveling, and going on cruises with her Mom and Aunt Fuffie.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 41 years, Virgil; daughter, Angelique Impson, of McGregor, Texas; grandsons, Andrew Stinnett, of New York; William Stinnett, of Texas; granddaughters, Abigail Stinnett, of Virginia, and Elizabeth Stinnett, of Texas; great grandson, Ezra Stinnett, of New York; sons, Dennis Hackler, of West Virginia; Christopher Hackler, of California; Virgil Wayne Hackler, of Michigan; and Robbie Hackler, of West Virginia; brother, William Conger, II, of Norfolk, Virginia; sisters, Lorrie Amerson, of Chesapeake, Virginia; Amy Glaubke, of New Kent, Virginia; Victoria Agreste, of Chesapeake, Virginia; cousin, Lois Andrews, Chesapeake, Virginia; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Bella Vista Baptist Church, with Pastor John Marsh, officiating.
