Charles T. Archer II, age 83 years, of Edgewater, died Monday, April 8, 2024 at Halifax Health Medical Center. Born in Miami, Florida to Charles E. and Mary R. Armfield Archer, Charles came to the area in 2020 from Ashville, North Carolina.

A United States Navy veteran, he was a manager in the propane and natural gas industry. Charles  enjoyed coaching baseball and football. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Bonnie; two sons, Wayne (Deborah) Archer, of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania; and Sean Archer, of Edgewater; five grandchildren, Logan, Cody, Hannah, Lillie, Ava Archer; and great grandson, Michael Dean Archer. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Rozanne Archer.
