Clyde A. Terwilliger, age 62, died Tuesday, December 7, 2020 at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. Born in Kingston, New York to Leroy A. and Marie P. Morgan Terwilliger. Clyde came to the area in the 1970's from Poughkeepsie, New York.
An owner/operator of a ceramic and tile business, he was Catholic, enjoyed motorcycles and fishing; most of all off shore fishing with his son. Clyde believed his hands were hard so his son Zach’s hands may be soft to help others as a doctor. The place he found the most peace was Bryson City, North Carolina where he built a cabin that the family could enjoy. Clyde was a devoted husband and father that will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Jackie; son, Dr. Zach (Beatriz) Terwilliger, of New Smyrna Beach; brother, Dewain (Monica) Terwilliger, of Deltona and Robin Tewilliger, of New Smyrna Beach; sisters, Lauren (Kevin) Cogan, of England and Yolande (David) Baker, of New Smyrna Beach. Also survived by 6 nieces, Amanda, Cassie, Jessica, Alayna, Kristen and Shayla; 5 nephews, Troy, Matthew, Garron, Britt and Michael; brother-in-law, Jerry (Penny) Brunner, of Bellwood, Pennsylvania.
