Constance Genevieve Palinsky passed away peacefully in New Smyrna Beach , Florida on June 1st, 2023 just hours after her 96th birthday.
Connie was born in Michigan in 1927. Her family re-located to Chicago for a few years, moving back to Michigan until 2005 when she retired to Florida .
On July 3, 1947 she married Joseph Palinsky and had 2 sons.
Connie owned Conne' Studios of Professional Oil Painting on Photographs from 1960 - 1970, and then the Palinsky Gallery of Arts and Antiques from 1970 - 1980. Between the years of 1960 - 1970 she received numerous art awards including the Michigan Professional Photography Association's Oil Colorist of the year, a category added in her honor.
Connie was the first female Certified Hypnotherapist in Michigan . She worked at Dailey Life Center for 18 years with patients in varying need of help. She also worked as a forensic Hypnotherapist helping solve many cases. As a published author, Connie wrote books on self-help, smoking cessation, and living your best life. She was inducted into the National Guild of Hypnotists Hall of Fame in 2000. She was recognized in 2010 by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating leadership and excellence in all her life's endeavors.
Connie's extensive educational accomplishments include Master Certification in the National Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Advanced Hypnotherapy, Hypnotic Anesthesiology, Forensic Hypnosis, Master Hypnosis trainer, Certified International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy, and so much more.
She is survived by her two sons, Joseph Palinsky II (partner, Mary Chyb) Mark R. Palinsky (Tina); two grandchildren Lindsay Michelle Palinsky (partner Josh) and Adria Zoe Andrew (Michael); numerous nieces and nephews and long time friends, Don and Mira McInnes, Mitch and Maggie Kovacs.
Connie was a dynamic lady. She was a force to be reckoned with and improved the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Her laughter, bright smile and wisdom will be missed. She would ask not to mourn her death but instead celebrate her.
