Danny Aylwin Obituary

Danny Aylwin, age 70, of Ormond Beach, died Sunday, January 31, 2021. Born in Salem, Massachusetts to George and Agnes Cassidy Aylwin, Danny came to the area in 1962.

Recently retired from Oceanside Country Club where he was the long time golf course superintendent, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family. Danny was a devoted husband, father and brother.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Kathy; daughter, Katie (Julie Fink) Aylwin; two sons, Jay (Lindsay Stevens) Aylwin, and Todd (Christine Song) Aylwin; two brothers, Michael (Lisa) Aylwin and Bobby (Karen) Aylwin; two sisters, Jane (Clint) Voltmer, and Peggy (Stuart) Hughes; sister in laws, Sandra Hawkins and Bobbie (Wilbur) Moore, and his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Volusia Flagler Junior Golf Association (vfjga.org) and the Alzheimer's Foundation (alzfdn.org).
