Dean Michael McIntyre

Dean Michael McIntyre, age 57, of New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Halifax Health Hospice.  Born in Memphis, Tennessee; Dean moved to Fort Lauderdale as a child.  

Dean was a licensed plumber and an avid Harley rider.  A devoted husband and father; he loved watching the sunrises and the rocket launches from his balcony. He also enjoyed fishing, gambling and a couple drinks at the Beachside Tavern.  

Survivors include his wife, Lynn; daughter, Hailey; 2 sons, Wyatt and T.J.; his dog, Tank;  mother, Mary Botsford; brother, Bruce and sister in law Linda Botsford; 4 nephews, Noah, JoJo, Robbie and Anthony; 3 nieces, Grace, Sammi and Chelsea; sister in law, Lisa DeWise; brother in law, Kevin DeWise. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Norman Botsford; uncle, Edward Bizilia; and father in law, Robert Ferrieri.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, November 28 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 29 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with pastor Khalil Ayoub, Beachside Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will follow at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery.  Celebration of Life after burial at Beachside Tavern.
