Deborah Claire Smith

Deborah Claire Smith, 75, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 at Port Orange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on August 18th, 1949.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Gary Smith whom she was married to for 57 years and daughters; Wendy (James) Nelson of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, and Amy (Eric) Clouser of Kennesaw, Georgia. She is further survived by her grandchildren Connor, Kayleigh, and Henry as well as her sister Diane (David) Babe. She is preceded in death by her parents, Augustus T. and Claire (Shaeff) Rowe.

During her lifetime, Deborah worked for the American Red Cross and in her free time she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and traveling.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the United Church of Christ New Smyrna Beach at 203 Washington Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32168.
