Delma Hasty Obituary
Delma Hasty, age 83, of Edgewater, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at AdventHealth New Smyrna. Born in Thomasville, Georgia to J.D. and Vera Bonds Hasty, Delma came to the area in 1962 from his birthplace.
A retired Publix produce clerk, he was a Tampa Bay Ray baseball fan, enjoyed bluegrass music and yard work. Mostly, he loved just being outside.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Louise; son, Rob Hasty of Edgewater; grandson, Jacob Hasty, of Edgewater; sister, Jeanette (Huey) Holton, of Orlando; Nellie (Willie) Hasty Solis, of Georgia; and Sarah Hasty, of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with the Reverend Don Shobert, officiating. Burial will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater. Friends will be received from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at the funeral home.
