Denise D. Ofide

Denise D. Ofide, age 69, of New Smyrna Beach, died Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her residence. Born in St. Augustine to Horace Cutter and Elizabeth Ofide, Denise came to the area in 1980.

A housekeeper, she was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family and having a good time. Denise was a Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed watching football.

Survivors include her 2 daughters, Ericka Blount and Chasity Blount; 4 brothers, Anthony Gilliard, Victor Ofide, Tyrone Ofide, and Horace Slaton; 9 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and sister, Sebrena Williams. Denise was preceded in death by her daughter, Latasha Blount; brother, Calvin Gillard, and her parents.
