Diane Donahue

Diane Donahue, age 84, of Edgewater, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Advent Health New Smyrna. Born in Hartford, Connecticut to Thadeus Richard and Margaret Ann Fairweather Barrs, Diane came to the area in 1988 from Connecticut.

A nurse, Diane was a member of St. Paul's Church quilt group. She enjoyed reading, cruising, sewing, and quilting. Diane was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Survivors include her son, Eric Donahue, of Edgewater; 2 daughters, Debbie (Michael) D'Angelo, of Southington, CT; and Karen (Mark) D'Angelo, of Plantsville, CT; 2 grandsons, Michael D'Angelo, and Christopher (Kerry) D'Angelo; 2 granddaughters, Nicole (Joseph) Garvish, and Rachael D'Angelo; great grandchildren, Juliana, Kira, Francesca, Joseph, Antonia, Christopher, and Kaden. Diane was preceded in death by h er parents, and her husband, Terry.

Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, with the Reverend Charles D. Acheson, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Edgewater Animal Shelter, 605 Mango Tree Drive, Edgewater, Florida  32132.
