Diane Florence (Henderson) Haines

Diane Florence Henderson Haines, age 70, of Edgewater, Florida passed away Saturday July 27th, 2024.  

Born in Edgewater at Sunnyside Hospital to Arthur and Charlotte Henderson.  Diane graduated from New Smyrna Beach Highschool, Class of 72.  

She met her husband of 51 years, Richard L Haines in New Smyrna Beach, Florida where they both held jobs at Norwoods.  Diane also worked for the Edgewater Police Department.  They raised their daughter and son in Englewood, Florida for many years where she became a Real Estate Agent.  

In 2016, Diane and Richard moved home to Edgewater.  Her caring nature and loving spirt were passed on to her children.  She was a devoted mother, wife, homemaker, and grandmother.  She loved cooking for everyone, made the world’s best carrot cakes, always wanted to make people smile, and was the best mother and wife that anyone could have ever have wanted.  

Diane is survived by her husband, Richard, her daughter Charity Newsome, Woodstock GA, her son Richard Haines II, New Smyrna Beach FL, and her granddaughter Ainsley Newsome, Woodstock GA.  She was loved and will be dearly missed.
