Diane M. Williams, age 80, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Born May 6, 1944 in Kingston, New York to Berwyn and Ann Mattison; Diane moved to this area in 1994.
A loving and dedicated wife, mom, grandmother and friend; Diane was a teacher in New York before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She then devoted her life to not only her two children and husband but also to the education system and the arts. Diane was on the Patron’s Committee for the Atlantic Center for the Arts for the Images Art show for 20 years. She always had a passion for being totally involved in the community. Diane loved her family and friends deeply and showed in everything she did. Her favorite phrase was “I am grateful”. It showed in everything she did.
Diane is survived by her husband, Fulton Williams, daughter, Amanda (Williams) Ryan; son-in-law, Kevin Ryan, and grandchildren, Brendan, Conner and Grayson. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Williams; brother, Craig Mattison; and her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be August 7, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Smyrna Yacht Club.
