Dolores Murray Bergeron

Dolores Murray Bergeron, age 96, of Edgewater, died Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater with her family at her side.

Born in Nellie, Pennsylvania to Isaac W. and Meltena Eichler Reynolds; Dolores moved to this area in 1987 from Adelaide, PA. Dolores was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church and she enjoyed travel, studying the bible, going to church, learning history, reading and gardening.  She used to teach Sunday school and sing in choir at church. She also enjoyed life as a caregiver.

She retired from Anchor Hocking in PA, then worked in retirement at The Beachcomber in Daytona Beach where she met her husband Andre Bergeron that deceased several years later.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Shirley Link and Dolores Jean Show; a sister, Ada Macey; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Meryl Murray, in 1986; two sons, Donald King and Kenneth Murray; and siblings, Esther Vanorsdale, Richard and Fredis Reynolds and Joanne Macey.

Services will be private.
