Dominic J. Capria

Dominic J. Capria, age 94, of New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, April 10, 2019.  Born in Trenton, New Jersey to Rocco and Carmela Gennelo Capria, Mr. Capria came to the area in 1989 from Trenton, New Jersey.

 

A plant manager at TRW & Circle F Industries,  a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Mr. Capria loved crabbing and gardening. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Survivors include his two sons, Dominic (Cynthia) Capria of Louisa, Kentucky and Daniel J. Capria of Las Vegas, Nevada; two granddaughters, Elizabeth (Bill) Grescovich of Maryland and Levana Capria of Kentucky; two grandsons, James (Sonja) Gilch and Angelo Capria, all of Pennsylvania; four great granddaughters, Katherine Grescovich of Maryland, Isabella Gilch, Francesca and Lidia Gilch all of Pennsylvania; 3 great grandsons, William Grescovich of Maryland, Gianni and Matteo Gilch, both of Pennsylvania; sister, Rose Fabiano of Pennsylvania and son-in-law, Doug Moll of the Villages, Florida. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Capria was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 72 years, Elizabeth; 2 daughters, Christine Capria Moll and Delores Capria and many siblings.

 

Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 24th at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach, with Father Patrick Quinn, T.O.R., officiating.
