Donnie graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 1967 and attended Daytona Beach Junior College. A Lead Pad Mechanic at Kennedy Space Center for over 25 years, he was a member of Deeper Life Church, the Republican Club, and the Surfari Club. Donnie LOVED his family and friends, and enjoyed spending time at the tiki bar by the pool. He enjoyed riding his Harley, and swimming and surfing at the beach. Growing up, he loved spending summers at the family farm in Virginia, having fun with his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Donnie was a very generous person, always doing for others. Delivering food for the underprivileged every week was very important to him. He lit up the room with his charming personality and beautiful smile! He was one of a kind.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, 406 S. Orange Street, New Smyrna Beach, FL., with the Reverend Brian Walton, Deeper Life Church, officiating.
