Duffie Douglas Thompson

Duffie Douglas Thompson, age 70, of Edgewater, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at AdventHealth Hospice East, New Smyrna Beach.
Born in Daytona Beach to Rush James and Annie E. Loper Thompson, Duffie was a lifelong resident. He was a technician in the Aerospace industry and was a motorcycle enthusiast. Duffie owned his own race car, enjoyed drag racing and loved cars and car shows. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jan; daughters, Michelle (Kenny) Taylor, of Holly Hill and Tia (James) Wilson, of Edgewater; son, James Thompson, of Edgewater; step-son, Matt Raulerson, of Edgewater; granddaughters, Shelby Taylor, of Holly Hill and Hannah Raulerson, of Edgewater; grandson, Craig (Jessica) Taylor, of Holly Hill; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Thompson and sisters, Tela (Reta Brooks) Thompson and Rachael Thompson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life will be at Noon to 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Sand Point Park (The Valicenti Pavilion) at 101 N. Washington Ave, Titusville, FL 32796 .
