Edward Dennis Dailey Sr.

Edward Dennis Dailey Sr., age 80, of Edgewater, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach. Born in Washington, D.C. to Joseph Lee and Margaret Frances Tayler Dailey, Edward came to the area six years ago from Maryland.

He loved going to junk yards and working on old cars. Edward enjoyed fishing and going to the stores.

Survivors include his four children, Terry Perez, Patricia (Doug) Johnson, Thomas Edward Lynch, Edward Dennis Dailey Jr.; two brothers, Ambrose Dailey and Richard Dailey; two sisters, Josephine Pyles and Mary Ellen Kent; five grandchildren, Cindy Lynch, Amanda Lynch, Jessica Long, Joseph Long and Rachel Karl; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dailey in 2022.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday February 26, 2023 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with Mr. Doug Johnson, officiating. Friends will be received from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Sunday February 26, 2023 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home.
