Edward Patrick Moore, age 97, died Friday, September 4, 2020 at his residence. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he came to the area in 1987 from Longwood, Florida.
A retired New York police office of 28 years, Edward was a United States WWII Navy veteran. He enjoyed walking on the beach and loved his dogs and his bird. Edward was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his 3 sons, Tommy Moore, of Sanford; Timmy (Arlene) Moore, of Longwood, and Tracy Moore, of New Smyrna Beach; granddaughter, Erin Moore, of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Viola and his son, Edward.
