Elizabeth Ann Lynch Bochiardy, age 89, of New Smyrna Beach, passed from this earth Monday, July 20, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Thomas John and Anna Marie Liska Lynch, Elizabeth settled in New Smyrna in 1944.
Elizabeth retired from the New Smyrna Utilities Commission, was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, past President of Elks Ladies Lodge 1557, New Smyrna Woman’s Club, past President and founding member of Turnbull Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, member of Women’s Auxiliary of the United Association of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local 295, troop leader for Girl Scouts of America, Cub Scouts, PTA, the Family Motor Coach Association, the Antique Car Association, supporter of the Future Farmers of American and founding member of the New Smyrna Beach Boat and Ski Club.
Survivors include four children, Mark (Janice) Bochiardy, of New Smyrna Beach; Paulette (Everett) Brewer, of New Smyrna Beach; Britt (Mary) Bochiardy, of Clearwater, and Johanna (R.D.), of DeLeon Springs; sister, Patricia Mancinelli, of Georgia; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Benjamin Paul Bochiardy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home.
