Ella Mae “Toni” Jordan, age 85, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at her home, surrounded by loving family and friends. Born in Aztec, New Mexico to Elmer Chase and Luella Valencia Gross, Toni came to the Daytona Beach area in the 1950's.
Toni and her late husband, Jeff Jordan who passed in 1998, established Jeff Jordan Pools and together introduced innovative technology in water chemistry and design to Volusia County and surrounding communities, being recognized nationally.
As a longtime member of Central Baptist Church, Living Waters Prayer Group and Pilots Club, she devoted her time and faith to charitable causes, helping the community. Toni was a volunteer at her children's elementary school in the infirmary and as a teacher's aide, guiding youth with their reading skills. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah (Al Ward) Aaron and Cheryl (David Johnson) Johnson, siblings Gene Gross and Theresa Valencia, extended family and many friends and neighbors.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Daytona Memorial Park, with the Reverend Sonny Gallman of Central Baptist Church, Daytona Beach officiating. Burial will immediately follow.
