Estelle A. Mathis

Estelle A. Mathis, age 84, of Winter Garden and formerly of Oak Hill, died Thursday December 16, 2021 at Health Central, Ocoee.  Born in Melbourne to George O. and Elma Spiller Fricke.

 

A homemaker, she enjoyed walking, but mostly spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Estelle was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Survivors include her 3 sons, Herbert Mathis, Goose Creek, SC; Joseph Mathis, of Boscawen, NH and Johnny (Mary) Mathis, of Oak Hill; 2 daughters, Patricia (Ronald) Walker, of Oak Hill and Mary (Larry) Roach, of Winter Garden; 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; and brother, Glenn (Rose) Fricke. Estelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Charles; 2 brothers, George and Wilbur.

 

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 27, 2021 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home with Larry Roach, officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday December 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
