Florian "Pinky" Pinkowski

It is with a heavy heart that I write this.  On October 14, 2021 I lost my dear friend of 26 years , Florian W. Pinkowski -“ Pinky”.   He is survived by his brother Rich and sister in law Marge Pinkowski, his brother Thomas and sister in law Carol Pinkowski and his sister Carol Ann Sart.  He leaves behind nieces and nephews in upstate New York , three children in California, and numerous friends in New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War.  He worked for and retired from Beck Electric in NY.  He also built and sold “ Midway -Marina” with his best friend Jerry Hart. He moved to Florida in 1995 where he continued to build and fix things for anyone who asked him for help. He never said no and he never sat idle.  He continued that way until he just couldn’t do it anymore.  He did however find some time to pick up a new hobby, golf.  So the rest is history.  No one will miss his smiling blue eyes , his friendship, and advice more than me.

Thanks to Halifax Health Hospice in Edgewater and Settle Wilder in NSB for making him comfortable during his last few days and helping me,  his family and loved ones , and his dear close friends cope with the sorrow of his passing.
