Floyd Bennett Haddock, age 59, of Edgewater, died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.
Born in Oak Hill to Mary Monds, Floyd was a lifelong resident and attended Bibleway Church of God In Christ, in Oak Hill. He loved playing with his grandchildren and his children as well. Never met a stranger, Floyd enjoyed eating crabs, fishing, going on drives and talking on the phone. He liked music and to dance. Floyd will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include the love of his life, Marie; three children, Floyd (Veronica) Haddock Jr., Ashlee Haddock, and Frankie Martin; ten grandchildren, Terrence, Kyla, Kamyha, Kiana, Mariah, Makayla, Emmanual, Travis, Kaylana, and Julia; five sisters, Edith (Hosea) Beauchamp, Mary Lee (Robert) Nesbitt, Loudella (Willie) Allen, Sally Haddock, and Pearl Haddock; two brothers, James (Monica) Haddock, and John (Eisela) Monds.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Bibleway Church of God In Christ, with Mike Beauchamp, officiating. Burial will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater. Friends will be received on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home.
