Frances “Fran” Elizabeth Fatula, age 80, of Edgewater, died February 2, 2021 at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach. Born in Laurel, Maryland, to Joseph and Elizabeth Whitehead Martin; Fran moved to this area from Travelers Rest, South Carolina in 2020.
A member of Foothills Baptist Church in Travelers Rest; Fran loved reading, crocheting, yellow roses and eating her dessert first. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Joe; a daughter, Shawn (Randy) Rega, of DeLand; 2 sons, David (Joy) Fatula, of Orlando, and Michael Fatula, of Travelers Rest; 2 granddaughters, Julie (Parker) Strong, of Orange, Texas, and Randi Rega, of DeLand; 2 grandsons, Joey (Jessy) Fatula, of Orlando, and Joel Fatula, of Willoughby, Ohio; 7 great grandchildren, Hailee, Waverly, Tensley, Dash, Edith, Louise, and Delaynie; a brother, Joe (Lauretta) Martin, of Laurel, Maryland; 2 sisters, Mary (Bill) Phelps, of Burtonsville, Maryland, and Jeanette (George) Cipra, of Ocala. Fran was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Bella Vista Baptist Church, Edgewater, with Pastor Tim Snyder, Foothills Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims.
