Frances Cole Hebert

Frances Cole Hebert, age 89, of Lafayette, Louisiana, and a former resident of this area, died Wednesday in Lafayette. Born December 15, 1926 in Cobb County, Georgia to the late P. P. And Myrtle Cole, Mrs. Hebert was a homemaker who was devoted to her family. She also enjoyed doing needlepoint.

Survivors include her son, Charles Douglas Hebert and wife, Carol, of Lafayette; a granddaughter, Tracy Lee Bouy and husband, Kenny of Youngsville, Louisiana; and a great-granddaughter, Charlie Grace Bouy, also of Youngsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Bobby; a sister, Maudie Tant, and brother, J. L. and Doug Cole.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 16 at the Settle-Wilder New Smyrna Beach Chapel, with the Reverend John Marsh, Bella Vista Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to a charity of one's choice.
