Gary Norman Smith

Gary Norman Smith, 78, of Edgewater, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Halifax Hospice Care Center. He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on June 15, 1947.
Gary is preceded in death by 17 days by his wife Deborah Smith of 57 years and his parents, Norman H. and E. Virginia (Wood) Smith. Gary is survived by daughters; Wendy (James) Nelson of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, and Amy (Eric) Clouser of Kennesaw, Georgia, and beloved grandchildren Connor, Kayleigh, and Henry. During his lifetime, Gary owned his own business as a Tax and Financial Planner and in his free time was on the board of many charitable organizations, served on the Norristown Area School Board and was involved with his church.

A celebration of life will be held for both Gary and Debbie on Saturday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Church of Christ of New Smyrna Beach at 203 Washington Street New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. Memorials contributions may be sent to the church as well.
