Gloria Delphine Camp, age 96, of Edgewater, passed away at her home surrounded by family, Sunday September 26, 2021 . Born in Elyria, Ohio to Ward and Estelle Marie Keyes Lyon, Gloria came to the area in 1987 with her husband, Robert from Holly, Michigan.
She was a homemaker, and enjoyed crafting, she was very active with the Hacienda Del Rio craft club and help make many decorations for their dance parties, she also loved shuffleboarding and doing water exercises with her twin Gladys, she then ended up leading the pool exercises till the age of 90, she also loved walking and playing pinochle as well. Gloria was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Gerard Catholic Church, and she faithfully attended for many years ; and participated with the Fresh Start Club, Volusia County.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Camp and son in law, Mark Toy, of Olympia, Washington; and Bonnie Baumgartner, of Adrian, Michigan; grandchildren, Allison Peavey of Adrian, Michigan; Danny (Skye) Camp of Monticello, Georgia; Robbie Camp of Kathryn Georgia; Jeremy (Ingrid) Baumgartner of Toledo, Ohio; Kevin Camp of Las Vegas, Nevada; Derek Baumgartner of Toledo, Ohio; Nina Toy of Port Townsend, Washington; several nieces and nephews, she loved dearly, especially her niece/nephew Mary (Mike) Heasley, they would often help her a lot; great grandchildren; Tyler Peavey of Jackson, Michigan; Rowan Celestino of Tecumseh, Michigan; Jordan Camp of Monticello, Georgia; Payton Camp of Monticello, Georgia; Caden Camp of Kathryn, Georgia; Carson Camp of Kathryn, Georgia; Felix Baumgartner of Toledo, Ohio; Isla Baumgartner of Toledo, Ohio. Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Camp; her brother Jack Lyon; her eldest sister Joanne; twin sister Gladys; and her son Daniel Camp.
Funeral service is on Tuesday October 5th at 12:30pm at the Bushnell Veterans Cemetery in Florida with Chaplin Bob Ingraham, VITAS Hospice officiating.
