Gregory Steven Burleson

Gregory Steven Burleson, 67, of Oak Hill, Florida, passed away on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025. He was born on December 26th, 1957 in Orlando, Florida.

Gregory is preceded in death by his father, Gordon “Everett” Burleson.

He is survived by his mother, Ida (Shattler) Burleson of Titusville, Florida, and children; Alex (Haley) Burleson of DeBary, Florida, Sarah (William) Sapp of Perry, Florida, and Dalton Hopkins of Port Orange, Florida and sisters; Denise Wilkerson of Titusville, Florida and Jennifer Burleson of Christmas, Florida and brothers; Ashley (Lori) Burleson of Orlando, Florida and Chad (Carly) Burleson of Christmas, Florida. He is further survived by four grandchildren, Landon, Clara, Drew and Jarrod.

Gregory served his country valiantly in the United States Marine Corps. Upon his honorable discharge, he began his career in the residential construction industry, ultimately completing his career as a national sales executive with Innovative Hearth Products. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors and watching college football (Go Gators!).

Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday October 30, 2025 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, 406 S. Orange St., New Smyrna Beach. Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach.

Interment will be private with full military honors in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida.

Memorials may be made in Gregory’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
