Harold "Denny" Baker Obituary

Harold "Denny" D. Baker, age 81, died Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at his residence. Born in Mobile, Alabama to Claude Denton and Lena Polizzi Baker, Denny came to the area 3 years ago from St. Augustine.

A United States Army veteran, he was a Chief Financial Officer, and was a member at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, where he was very active; Secular Franciscans, Bible studies and served at church. Denny loved to travel, build and remodel homes, and mostly spending time with his family. He was loved by his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Connie; children, Lance Barber, Christopher Baker, Stephanie LaPolla, Andrea Baker, and Amy Baumgarten; grandchildren, Braden Baker, Coleman Baker, Tyler Barber, Everett LaPolla, Caleb Baumgarten, Cate Baumgarten, Erin Jennings, Austin Jennings, Wil Robbins, and Harrison Robbins; great grandchildren, Cadynn Jennings, Ava Lineberry, Kali Johnson, and Sophia Jennings; sisters, Dottie Courington and Diane Everett. Denny was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Kim Jennings, and grandson, Cody Jennings.  Preceded by his sister, Claudette Conine.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Friday, December 6, 2024 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach, with Father Patrick Quinn T.O.R., officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
