Harold Mac McCoig Obituary

Harold Mac McCoig, age 85, of Edgewater, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at AdventHealth New Smyrna. Born in Sevierville, Tennessee to Ernest and Reva Schrader Hatcher, Harold came to the area in 1962.

A United States Airforce veteran, he was a supervisor in the aerospace industry and retired from Kennedy Space Center, in 1998. Harold was a member of Bella Vista Baptist Church and he loved the Lord. Harold enjoyed farming, raising cattle, fishing, and hunting. He was an avid football and NASCAR fan. He loved his family and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Linda; 3 daughters, Lisa (Dave) Winkler, of Wales, UK; Karen (Gary) Blunt, of Sevierville, TN; and Tracy (Webb) Madison, of New Smyrna Beach; 2 granddaughters, Paige Cady and Sydney Madison; 2 grandsons, Kenan Maldonado and Christopher Coffey. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Colin Maldonado.

Services will be private.
