Born in Hampstead, New Hampshire to Ethel Hartford and Howard M. Richards, Sr. Buster worked at Rockingham Horse Track in Salem, New Hampshire and loved his horse, Babe. Howard M. “Buster” Richards, Jr., age 100, of Edgewater, Florida died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater. Born in Hampstead, New Hampshire to Ethel Hartford and Howard M. Richards, Sr. Buster worked at Rockingham Horse Track in Salem, New Hampshire and loved his horse, Babe. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #84, Kingston, New Hampshire and enjoyed his snow mobile  in New Hampshire. Buster was a very detailed wood crafter and his work was incredible while only having one arm. He raised chickens and capons.

Survivors include Brenda Dobson his longtime companion, son, David (Kay) Richards, of eastern Tennessee;, nephew, Joe (Donna) Mackie of southern Florida, and their sons, Kevin (Jodi) Mackie, Shawn Mackie;  nephew, Kenneth Mackie of northwest Florida, daughters, Dee and Kathy and his Best Friend, BUD (Linda) Strahley of Edgewater, Florida.  Buster was preceded in death by his parents, Howard (Ethel) Richards, wife, Bette of 68 yrs, sister, Marion (Bryon) Clow and sister, Myrtle (Joe) Mackie.
