J. Lindsay Clarkson

J. Lindsay Clarkson, age 70, died Saturday, December 21, 2024 at his New Smyrna Beach, Florida residence. Born in Long Island, New York to Philip Ely and Patricia Cairnes Clarkson, Lindsay was a lifelong New Jersey resident.

 An owner/operator of Tuckahoe Nurseries in Tuckahoe, New Jersey, he enjoyed building his business from the ground up although being on the water was his greatest passion. Lindsay was a longtime Corinthian Yacht Club member, and loved sailing, fishing, golfing, and the outdoors. Lindsay especially enjoyed his dogs.

 Survivors include his 2 sons, JL (Lynn) Clarkson, and Jason (Kristin) Clarkson; brother, Philip Clarkson, Jr.; sister, Dinah Riordan; and his companion, Terri Kopie.

 A service will be held at a later date.
