Jacqueline Mary Teehan, age 66, of Port Orange, died Friday, July 10, 2020. Born in Queens, New York to John and Arlene Marie Teehan. Jacque came to the area in 1963 from Winter Haven, Florida. She was a graduate of New Smyrna Beach High School.
A quality Assurance inspector in the boating industry, Jacque was a very caring and loving person who was always the light in the room with the best sense of humor and the greatest laugh. She loved the outdoors and was an avid boater whose passion was fishing. Camping at Princess Place Preserve was one of her favorite pastimes and she was famous for her extravagant camping light displays and tent decorations. A football fan, she favored the Gators, the Eagles, and the Barracudas.
Jacque lived a full and very adventurous life. Her travels included living on a reservation in Washington state, hiking down the Grand Canyon and camping on the beach in Jamaica. For many years she rode her motorcycle and later in life she took up sky diving.
She is survived by her sister, Pauline Twyman and husband, Travis; brother Pat Teehan and wife, Sissy; both of Edgewater. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews; Jamie Teehan, Sean Teehan, Sean Buice, Hanna Price and husband Mark and Cassandra Falk who adored their Aunt Jacque and the love and crazy fun she brought to their lives.
Other survivors are her cousin Tom Wisdow and his wife Melody and daughter, Savannah as well as Robin Teehan. Jacque also leaves behind her beloved cat, Owen.
In addition to her immediate family, Jacque had many, many friends who loved her and she loved them dearly in return. Everyone who met her was immediately taken by her humor, warmth, and unconditional love. Our hearts are broken but she leaves us with many fun and wonderful memories.
A celebration of life will be announced when plans are finalized.
