James John Posick III, age 7, of Oak Hill, died Thursday, June 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Orlando, to James J. Posick Jr. and Tina Goodrich, James III was a lifelong resident of Oak Hill and Mims.
James III was a very happy child, always smiling. He had beautiful brown eyes and gorgeous eye lashes. James was a little flirt and would light up the room whenever he entered. He brought a lot of joy to those who knew and loved him. His Mommy would call him Mighty, and his Daddy would call him Superman. James touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around him. He attended Loads of Smiles PPEC in Daytona Beach, a very special facility that James looked forward going to. The staff was very special to James and his family.
Survivors include his father, James; mother, Tina; grandparents Steve and June Goodrich, of Oak Hill; Gail Munson, of New Smyrna Beach; Ronnie and Mary Hall, of Brunswick, Georgia; James and Fran Posick Sr. of Maine; brother, Dustin Posick, of New Smyrna Beach; and sister, Hannah Posick of Oak Hill.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, 406 S. Orange St., New Smyrna Beach, with The Reverend Ann Taylor Owen officiating. Family will receive friends from 12 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
