James "Bud" R. Williams

James R. “Bud” Williams, age 87, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at his residence. Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina to Frank Alexander and Ruby Loyless Hughes Williams, Bud came to the area in 1999 from his birthplace.

A automotive mechanic, he loved the outdoors, fishing, woodcarving, and painting.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Anne; sister, Barbara Loving, of Tryon, North Carolina; two special daughters, Tracey Tinsley, and Kristen Williams. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ann Terry, and nephew, Tony Terry.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to the Volusia County Humane Society.

There will be no services.
