Janet M Rosamilia

Janet Marie Rosamilia, our beloved mother, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 81. Born on October 17, 1943, in Newark, New Jersey, to William and Cecilia Milmoe.

Janet was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and nana who truly cherished time spent with her family. Janet was born in Newark, New Jersey, and settled with her husband, Gerald Rosamilia, and their young children in Bloomfield, New Jersey, for 12 years. She fell in love with Florida and moved her family there in 1986, finally making the little town of DeBary her home in October 2000.

Janet is now welcomed into Heaven by Jerry, the love of her life, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol Kennedy (Milmoe), and her brother, Thomas Milmoe. Janet is survived by her two children and their families: her daughter, Jamie Irlandi, and her husband, Stephen, along with bonus grandson, Stephen; and her son, Thomas Rosamilia, and his wife, April, and grandchildren, Ryleigh and Payton. She also leaves behind several beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she held near and dear to her heart.

Janet most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and bragging about all their accomplishments to anyone who would listen. They meant everything to her, and she could not have been a better nana to them. She loved visiting the beach, playing dominoes, any kind of fruity chewy candy, and celebrity gossip. She never went without her People magazine and Entertainment Tonight!

Our mother was a tenacious woman, to say the least, but she loved us all fiercely and with every fiber of her being. We will miss her immensely.

Memorial Services A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, located at 163 S. Volusia Avenue, Orange City, Florida. Visitation with the family will be from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM. Internment will occur in New Jersey, followed by a mass on September 6, 2025, at 5:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, located at 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield, New Jersey.
