Jeanette Elaine Prosser

Jeanette was a registered nurse and worked at various hospitals. Later, Jeanette received a degree in machine design from Rhode Island Junior College and worked at Electric Boat in Groton Connecticut and then for Pratt & Whitney in West Palm Beach Florida. She was a member of Oviedo Florida Presbyterian Church and St. James Episcopal Church in Glastonbury Connecticut.
Jeanette loved to read and loved her children very much. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jeanette will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Harold; 3 sons, Harold III (Susan) Prosser of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Jeffery (Louann) Prosser of Tarpon Springs and Kevin (Sherri) Prosser of Bluffton, South Carolina; 8 grandchildren, Corey, Cherie, Danielle, Leah, Courtney, Kayla, Devon and Zackary; 6 great-grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Noemi, Austyn, Levi and Peyton; and sister, Marilyn Carroll of Oviedo. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and sister Doris. 
Funeral service will be 12 Noon, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Settle-Wilder Chapel with Pastor Paul Ogne, Oviedo Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
