Jerry Wildberger, age 91, of Edgewater, died Monday, October 7, 2024 at Reflections Memory Care of Port Orange. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry & Anna Hook Wildberger; Jerry moved to Florida in 1983 from Baltimore.
A hard worker his entire life and a foreman for Bethlehem Steel, Jerry loved to tinker with everything in his free time. He would tinker with anything that had a motor. He also enjoyed traveling, going on vacations with his family, taking cruises with his wife, going out to breakfast, watching Westerns and old movies and collecting DVDs.
Survivors include his 4 sons, Gary (Debbie), John (Sandy), Michael (Barb) and Glenn (Paulette) Wildberger; a daughter, Coleen (Gregory) Raymond; grandchildren, Kelsey, Greg "JR", Jacob and Mason Raymond; Andy Wildberger, Katie (Bill) Karpus, Ryan (Heather), Matt, Bo, Glenn Jr., and Jade Wildberger, and Chelsea (Joshua) Stanley; great grandchildren, Maura (Chance), Cooper, Annie, Dalton, Kennedi, Emma, Zoey and Ashton; and great great grandchildren Caelum, Crew and Isabella. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Connie in 2022, and 2 grandchildren, JD and Jenny.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 17, at Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, with the Reverend Charles D. Acheson officiating. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach.
