Jimmie Carlton DeLoach

Jimmie Carlton DeLoach, age 86, died Friday, December 27, 2024 at Emerald Assisted Living Facility, New Smyrna Beach. Born in New Smyrna Beach to Steward Lester and Jimmie Violet Moody DeLoach, Jimmie grew up in New Smyrna Beach and moved to Minnesota. He came back to the area in June.

A professor, he wrote college books and was a techie, good on a computer. Jimmie like genealogy and traveling. He loved Dairy Queen.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl; 2 brothers, Robert Richard DeLoach, and Arthur "Buddy" DeLoach; 3 grandchildren, Sara (James) Barnes, Heather (Cameron) Eppes, and Steven (Jamie) Newcomb 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no services.
