Joan Calabrese Obituary

Joan J. Calabrese, age 84, of New Smyrna Beach, died Thursday at Oceanview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Calabrese came to this area in 1992 from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

A retired banker, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and loved animals.

Survivors include a son, Joe Calabrese of New Smyrna Beach; 2 daughters, Susan Chally of Collegeville, Pennsylvania and Diane Calabrese of Williamstown, New Jersey; grandson, Nicholas Chally of Levittown, Pennsylvania; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Dominic Chally of Levittown; and a sister, Gloria Taglienti of the Villages, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Joseph, son, Charles, and grandson Anthony Chally.

Services will be held at a later date for the family.
