Johnnie B. Webb

Brother Johnnie B. Webb, age 86, of New Smyrna Beach, was called home to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at his residence. Johnnie was born September 28, 1931 in Damascus, Georgia to Francis and Wade Webb.  He attended school in Havana, Florida and was employed by Ocean Properties, New Smyrna Beach.

Johnnie was a dedicated member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, New Smyrna Beach, for over fifty years. He was pro tem of Steward Board, Choir Member, the Bus Ministry and served in many other capacities.

Johnnie leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Jerome Webb and Johnny O. Webb; daughters, Loretta Johnson and Natalie Webb; step-children, George Willie Poole, Jr. and Linda Jackson; sister, Mary Lee Johnson; brother, Thomas Webb; brother-in-law, Thomas Brown; sisters-in-law, Jessie Moten and Evelyn Smith; also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends. Johnnie was preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Easter Moten Webb; and a daughter, Joyce Webb.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18th at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church with the Reverend Jeffrey Dove, officiating.  Burial will follow at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery, Edgewater.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 17th at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church.
